The beginnings

doesn't seem like much ... yet this edition of the National Geographic, found randomly in my old building's basement, triggered a lot. I myself didn't expect much from this 1998 edition, seemingly worn down and full of dust (it turned out to be frost on the cover photo from the Transsiberian) but the stories it had inside covered a superb range of places and people. The photography was mostly done with wide-angle lens, capturing sweeping views of faraway places : the russian taiga, and scottish island landscapes

And on the back of the magazine, a small Kodak ad which remains to this day a simple phrase, a simple plan, and a big dream.

It sells for 2 $ on ebay presently :); it means a little world to me.

You'll never walk alone ...

I've been looking, for a long time, for the will to keep going on no matter what, and i hope to find it here.
Because it's something so beautiful, I believe; to be aware of the failure up ahead, of the missteps, of the distrust, and yet to keep going just to stay true to one's self.
Nothing means much lately but it is up to every single one to create meaning, often from nothing.
And so I endeavour, to find, to meet, to build.
Hoping for better times :)
